Software development tutorials NEEDED!!!!?

I am a beginner on this..so I downloaded a pdf tutorial on C#.Some one told me it’s good.Here is the tutorial – http://issc.uj.ac.za/downloads/csharp.pdf
Please can any one tell m is this good enough for a beginner if NO please be kind to provide me some links for tutorials..Video 0r Text..I am a total beginner.
But I have done Scripting in FLASH & have the basic knowledge on HTML..
